Fees

TVE fees are used to cover the costs of operation as well as to provide financial support for community projects. For more information on where your money goes, please see the Financials in about us.

What's Included

• pre-arrival support & preparation
• airport pick-up
• orientation program
• room & board
• volunteer placement(s)
• daily in-person availability of coordinator
• post-volunteering support

What's Not Included

• visa and/or volunteer permit
• airfare
• medicines/vaccinations
• health/travel insurance
• airport drop-off

2009 Program Fees

2 weeks -     $495
1 month -     $895
6 weeks -  $1,195
2 months - $1,495
3 months - $1,995

Volunteers are requested to schedule their arrival at the beginning or middle of the month.
Some assignments may require volunteers to obtain and present a clean police record/report.
Volunteer placements and schedules are booked upon receipt of the $195 deposit. Remaining fees are due 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Application

Ready to kick-off your experience? Here's how the application process works.

1.  Complete and submit the online application form, and pay the deposit. (see Payments).

2.  We'll review it and get back to you within 48hrs with any follow-up questions, and let you know if we have      a placement for you.

3.  If there's a match, then we'll hold you a space.  If not, then we'll refund your deposit immediately. 

4.  Let us know your flight plans.

5.  We will send you a confirmation email with your program information and schedule.

6.  Pay the remaining program fees at least 4 weeks prior to arrival.
